Pulmonary & Respiratory Services for Children

Nexus Children’s Hospital offers pediatric pulmonary care for children who are chronically ill, physically fragile, or traumatically injured. Our pulmonologist makes rounds and our 24/7 care team provides care to children who need short-term tracheotomy/ventilator assistance, and to those with long-term tracheotomy/ventilator dependencies who will return home.

Conditions Treated

We treat infants and children who have sustained a neurological injury or who have immature lungs that have resulted in breathing difficulties, including:
