Nexus Health Systems Announces New VP of Revenue Cycle Management

HOUSTON — January 8, 2018 — Nexus Health Systems announced the promotion of John Raley to VP of Revenue Cycle Management. Providing oversight and guidance over the admissions department, health information management and the centralized business office, Raley will develop and maintain relationships between service lines, providers, operations and administration. He will also collaborate with the finance team.

Raley has over 25 years of experience in revenue cycle management leadership positions. Most recently, he was Corporate Director of Revenue Cycle Management for Nexus. In his new role, Raley is excited about the opportunity to have a direct impact on the strategic vision of the organization.

“Nexus Health Systems offers our pediatric and adult patients a continuum of care to progress through as they rehabilitate” explains Raley. “I am looking forward to maintaining and focusing on ‘the revenue cycle continuum’, integrating clinical and business and financial objectives.” Raley went on to explain his revenue cycle management philosophy encompasses thorough education of all individuals within the health system. “Every aspect of a healthcare delivery system connects and/or intertwines with the revenue cycle arena, and my role is to successfully bridge those connections, ensuring not only that our organization can provide a successful continuum of care, but a successful continuum of revenue cycle services,” Raley explained. “I’m striving to develop our team’s understanding of the fiscal impact their decisions have across our health system.” Erin Cassidy, Nexus Health Systems President, describes Raley as a dedicated member of their leadership team. “John’s commitment to Nexus’ patients, providers and staff is unwavering,” explained Cassidy. “His experience and work ethic make him an asset to our team.”
