Dr.
Cassidy

He

co-founder

the
Neuropsychiatry
Program
at
McLean
Hospital.
He
founded
and
served
as
Chief
Medical
Officer
of
the
Neurobehavioral
Institute
of
Houston,
founded
and
directed
the
Neuropsychiatry
Subspecialty
Services
of
Del
Oro
Rehabilitation
Hospital
and
was
the
Medical
Director
of
Neurobehavioral
Programs
at
Cypress
Creek
Hospital
in
Houston,
TX.
Certified
by
the
American
Board
of
Psychiatry
and
Neurology,
he
has
over
two
decades
of
experience
treating
patients
with
acquired
brain
injuries
and
their
associated
disabilities.
Dr.
Cassidy
has
spoken
internationally
and
authored
a
number
of
papers
and
books
dedicated
to
improving
the
understanding
and
treatment
of
individuals
with
acquired
brain
injury.
Dr.
Cassidy
leads
the
Senior
Management
Team
and
is
focused
on
the
company's
commitment
to
quality
medical
care
and
its
ongoing
mission
to
provide
a
continuum
of
care
to
historically
under
served
patients
and
their
families
in
need
of
specialized
healthcare

Guido Cubellis
Chief
Operating
Officer
Mr. Cubellis is Chief Operating Officer
for Nexus Health Systems and joined the
company in 2009. He has over 20 years
experience in progressively responsible
roles in healthcare management and earned a
Masters in both Business Administration and
Healthcare Administration from the
University of Pittsburgh.
His expertise was honed with nationwide
leaders in post acute care including
HealthSouth where he was CEO of a
freestanding rehabilitation hospital for
four years and Select Care for four years
where he was not only the CEO of a acute
care medical specialty hospital but also
trained new administrators for the
corporation. Mr. Cubellis was Regional Vice
President of Operations for Kindred
Healthcare for six years with
responsibilities for multiple facilities in
Eastern states. According to Mr. Cubellis,

to balance facility and corporate functions
to build on the success of Nexus and move
the company to the next level."
Mr. Cubellis brings a commitment to building

Guy Murdock
Vice President Human Resources
Mr. Murdock, who holds an MBA in marketing from the University of South Florida and a BS in Food Business Management from Purdue University, has focused his 16-year career on human resources management.
Before joining Nexus Health Systems in 2007 he was Vice President of Human Resources for the Southwest Division of Sava Senior Care/Mariner Health Care in Houston. His oversight included 10,000 employees in 100 facilities nationwide.
Mr. Murdock came to Texas from two HR positions in Florida—one as HR Director for Adult Care Management Corporation/Senior Management Advisors Inc. in Clearwater and the other as HR Director for Theracor Rehabilitation Services in Palm Harbor.
He is known for his expertise in blending corporate cultures during an acquisition, developing comprehensive performance management programs and sustaining 300 percent workforce growth over two years. His employee relations programs and company communications channels have reduced employee turnover and measurably increased bottom-line savings.
Mr. Murdock is Treasurer for the Nexus Hope Foundation.

Norman A. Zober, PhD
Chair
Dr. Zober is President and CEO of National Healthcare Management, Inc. (NHM), a Maryland-based advisory practice assisting owners, investors, venture capital firms, and boards of directors in maximizing operational performance of healthcare services investments. He also is active in merger and acquisition support for businesses in the healthcare service sector.
Before founding NHM, Dr. Zober was President and CEO of National Medical Enterprise's (NME) Specialty Hospital Group, today known as Tenet Healthcare. Over 13 years he grew the company from $60M to $1.7B.
Dr. Zober earned a doctorate in Health Administration and Policy from the Medical University of South Carolina and an MS in Healthcare Administration from Trinity University. He offices in Bethesda, Maryland.

Michele Betcher
Ms. Betcher is co-founder, Executive Vice President and COO of Nexus Health Systems. She holds an MS in Counselor Education from Oklahoma State University and a BS in Rehabilitation Services from Murray State University. Ms. Betcher also is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor and Certified Case Manager, focused on service delivery to children and adults with neurological disorders.
Before co-founding Nexus Health Systems, she was Executive Director of Clinical
Programs at the Neurobehavioral Institute of Houston in The Woodlands, Texas. Other posts included Director at Bayridge Village in Galveston, Texas, a transitional learning community, and Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor for the Texas Rehabilitation Commission in LaMarque, Texas.
Ms. Betcher’s career includes more than 20 years of experience in turnkey facility development, systems development, contracting, recruitment, personnel management, sales and marketing, and customer service.

Fredrica Brecht
Since 1999 Mrs. Brecht has been a Leadership Coach and Peer Group Leader, as well as CEO of a Vistage International franchise. Currently, she works with 30 member companies, providing professional insight from her 25 years of management experience in sales, marketing, distribution, manufacturing, mergers, and acquisitions.
Previously, she founded and served as CEO of an international branded products corporate division with operations in 10 countries and sales in 50.
Mrs. Brecht earned her undergraduate degree in Engineering from Cornell University and a master's degree in economics from Carnegie Mellon University. She also serves on the Board of Trustees of the Seminary of the Southwest, The Clergy Committee and the Orange Show Center for Visionary Art.

David Graham
Corporate securities lawyer David Graham is co-founder and partner in Turnbridge Capital, LLC, a Dallas- and Houston-based private equity firm exclusively focused on energy service investments. He is a former partner in the Houston-based law firm of Andrews & Kurth, LLC, and former Managing Director of The CapStreet Group, LLC.
In addition to serving on the Nexus Health Systems Advisory Board, he also sits on the Memorial Hermann Hospital System's Board of Directors and Finance Committee. Graham is Board Chair of CSI Texas Holdings, Inc. and on the Board of Directors for Orange County Container Group, LLC (packaging) and Gaines Group, LLC (manufacturing).
He is a cum laude graduate of the Southern Methodist University School of Law and earned his BBA degree in finance from the University of Oklahoma.

Charlene Madison Cassidy, PhD
Dr. Cassidy, former Senior Vice President of Community Relations for Nexus Health Systems, is now a consultant to Nexus on Program Development. She brings more than 30 years of research, teaching, consulting, and program leadership to the company's growth.
Since 1986 she has served on the boards or as an advisor to organizations including the Texas Head Injury Association, Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists, Biomedical Humanities Program at Hiram College, and Houston Association for Communication Disorders.
Dr. Cassidy holds a PhD and MA in clinical neuropsychology from the University of Houston and a BS (summa cum laude) in biopsychology from the University of Massachusetts.
Before joining Nexus in 2002 as Director of Life Care Planning Services, Dr. Cassidy was Chairman and CEO of LifeCare Planning, Inc. She is a licensed psychologist in Texas, with professional focus on neuropsychology and rehabilitation. She also is certified in comprehensive life care planning.
