Touchstone
Neurorecovery
Center in
Conroe
announced
that Jude
Theriot,
MD, has
been
appointed
as its
assistant
medical
director
and
clinical
director
of
neurology.
Dr.
Theriot is
an adjunct
faculty
member of
the
University
of Texas
Health
Sciences
Center. He
previously
served as
staff
neurologist
for the
Leonard J.
Chabert
Memorial
Medical
Center in
Houma,
Louisiana.

medical
and
teaching
background,
Dr.
Theriot
represents
an
excellent
addition
to our
Touchstone
team and
will help
grow our
staff’s
capabilities
there,”
said John
W.
Cassidy,
M.D.,
president,
CEO, and
chief
medical
officer
for Nexus
Health
Systems.
“We look
forward to
seeing the
impact
that he
has on our
patient
neurological
support
programs.”
In this
role, Dr.
Theriot
will
direct
medical
care and
participate
in the
patient
care
management
system of
specialty
neurology
services
at
Touchstone.
In
addition,
he will
help
develop
specialty
treatment
procedures
tailored
for both
inpatients
and
outpatients
with
neurological
impairments,
and
training
programs
for
Touchstone
medical
staff.
Dr.
Theriot
received
his Doctor
of
Medicine
and his
Masters
degree in
linguistics
from the
University
of
California,
San Diego
and his
Bachelor’s
degree in
psychology
and
linguistics
from Rice
University.
He
performed
a
neurophysiology
fellowship
at the
Louisiana
State
University
School of
Medicine
in New
Orleans
and did
his
residency
at Emory
University,
where he
was named
Resident
Teacher of
the Year.
Dr.
Theriot,
who lives
in
Houston,
has
performed
research
related to
post-traumatic
brain
injuries,
and other
areas of
neurology.
