Expansion
and
Renovation
Project
HealthBridge
Children’s
Hospital,
Houston,
TX
The 16-bed
expansion
and
renovation
project
currently
underway
was
started in
August,
2007 and
will add
significant
new
inpatient
capacity
as well as
the
development
and
expansion
of
outpatient
and
ancillary
services
and the
addition
of
on-campus
clinics.
With a
total
budget of
$9.7
million,
the
project
includes
renovations
and
upgrades
to the
existing
physical
plant and
campus
designed
to
maximize
staff
efficiency
and
dramatically
improve
the
cosmetic
appearance
of the
entire
facility.
Our goal
is to
solidify
HealthBridge
Houston as
the most
appropriate
destination
for
medically
complex
pediatric
cases from
throughout
the State
of Texas
and
enhance
our
position
as a
leader in
pediatric
specialty
care and
rehabilitation.
The
expansion
phase of
the
project is
slated for
completion
in the
Spring of
2008 and
the
renovation
phase is
scheduled
for
completion
in the
Fall of
2008, when
all 40
beds and
expanded
outpatient
services
will be on
line and
operational.
Phase 2 of
the
expansion
would add
another 16
beds to
the
facility
(56 beds
total).
