In 1992, Nexus Health Systems embarked on a
mission to create specialized healthcare
environments where patients could receive
treatment and rehabilitation specific to their
needs. The company, which is privately owned and
headquartered in Houston, Texas, has continued to
build upon a tradition of excellence as it strives
to provide each individual with dignity, respect,
compassion and positive outcomes.
Nexus Health Systems provides medical services in
the residential and medical specialty fields. We
provide post-acute, transitional and vocational
rehabilitation services to individuals who suffer
from traumatic brain injuries. Nexus also provides
post-acute medical care and rehabilitation
services to children and adults who are medically
complicated, technology
dependent, and/or
catastrophically impaired.
Nexus has continued to build or expand facilities
in order to meet patient demand and
operates three freestanding specialty hospitals
and a residential rehabilitation campus.

HealthBridge Children's Hospital in Orange, CA was
established in 2000 as a pediatric facility
licensed as an acute care pediatric hospital to
accommodate both acute care pediatric needs and
long-term sub-acute care.

HealthBridge Children's Hospital in Houston, TX is
a pediatric specialty hospital which opened in 1999.
Its focus is the provision of step-down ICU and
rehabilitative care to technologically dependant
medically fragile children from birth to age 21.

Nexus Specialty Hospital is a long-term acute care
hospital which was established in 1995 in The
Woodlands, TX. It recently expanded its capacity
with the addition of a newly constructed main
campus in Shenandoah, TX.

Touchstone
Neurorecovery Center, located in Conroe, TX
has offered neurobehavioral rehabilitation programs
ranging from short-term to life-care needs since
1992. Touchstone provides practical treatment
designed to meet the behavioral, vocational
and community re-entry needs of residents
with brain and other neurological injuries.

development of comprehensive plans that project
the long-term medical needs and associated costs
for individuals with catastrophic injuries,
life-altering disabilities and chronic illnesses
